Zika Virus: Can World Win the fight?

 Abstract:        

Zika virus is an emerging mosquito-borne flavivirus. Dengu and malaria are important mosquito -borne viral disease. Globally, dengu is the most common mosquito-borne viral disease, 390 million infections per year and 40% of the world’s population at risk. Zika virus, transmitted by Ae, aegypti mosquitoes and originated from Africa and Asia. Zika virus is a single stranded RNA virus. Zika virus was first isolated in 1947 from a rhesus monkey. Zika virus is an arthropod borne virus (arbovirus).Zika virus was first isolated from 1947. A virus can be transmitted by one from another by bite. Zika virus is globally spread disease. Zika virus is transmitted or spread by Aedes mosquitoes. Zika virus belongs to the family flavivirus. Not only, spread by Aedes mosquito but also spread by sexual transmission, blood transfusion etc. Zika virus is approximately 11000 nucleotide in length. Zika virus causes a neurological disease in humans.

INTRODUCTION:

In whole world, population increases day by day. Increasing population, we face many serious disease. At present day, Zika virus have been outbreak in Africa, Asia, America and Brazil. We know that, virus can be easily transmitted by one people to another people or cell to cell or tissue to tissue. Zika virus infection during pregnancy. Peoples are affected with Zika virus have no infection but tends to cause short lived. Not only pregnancy, but also infected to skin rush, fever, conjunctivitis etc. Zika virus not airborne disease. Its discovery in 1947 ,but in recent years it’s spreading rapidly world.

EPIDEMIOLOGY OF THE DISEASE:

Epidemiology is the study of control of disease. Epidemiology is the study of strengthing education and research in the field of public health. Zika virus was first identified in a rhesus monkey in the Zika Forest of Uganda in 1947. Zika virus is emerging virus that affects approximately the 4 million American population. In todays world, increasing temperature affects the health problem.The spread of the disease rapidly due to various factors- distribution of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes.

 Symptoms:

·        Fever.

·        Skin rush.

·        Muscle.

·        Headache .

·        Joint pain.

·        Red eyes.

Prevention Of Disease:

Zika virus infection is to prevent the disease protection. PCR (polymerase chain reaction) is a cell free amplification technique. Currently, RT-PCR (reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction) can help to diagnosis to disease. Bed rest and supportive care help to diagnosis prevent the disease. There are no zika vaccine development in our country. Wearing cloth of full body to prevent the disease. People sick Zika virus should plenty of rest and to drink of enough fluid.

CONCLUSION:

Zika virus found in everywhere. Zika virus is more dangerous can kill humans easily .
