Alzheimer’s disease
Abstract- Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is one of the most common neurological disorder in which the death of brain cells causes memory loss. Alzheimer’s disease is caused by production of beta-amyloid protein in specific brain regions. Alzheimer’s disease associated with brain pathology. Group of nerve cells are involved in thinking, learning and memory. Plaques are composition of protein fragment called beta-amyloid. Death of nerve cells cause memory failure, personality changes etc. The frequency of Alzheimer’s disease is increasing in the New Zealand Population. Alzheimer’s disease affect the areas of the brain resulting in gradual changes in thought and language. Check up our structure and functions of the brain. Encourage social interaction to prevent feelings of loneliness and depression. Approximately 4 million Alzheimer’s patient in the united states (U.S). Alzheimer’s disease was the eighth-leading cause of death in 2001. There is no cure and no effective treatment. The objective of this article was to review recent studies in this field.

INTRODUCTION:
Today, our generation facing major global public health problem namely Alzheimer’s disease. Many people fear the Alzheimer’s disease. The brain has 100 billion of nerve cell. Each nerve cell communicate to each other involved in thinking, learning and memory. Brain cells generate energy, receive supplies and construct equipment. Age, family history and genetics are all risk factors we cannot change. Alzheimer’s is the disease of the brain.
Symptoms of the disease cause gradual loss of memory, language problem, communication skils, thinking, behaviour and remembering. Genetics may play role in the development of Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s disease occurs in people age 30-60.Most people with Down syndrome (extra copy of chromosome 21) develop Alzheimer’s. Common behavioural symptoms of Alzheimer’s include sleeplessness, agitation and aggression. More than 5 million Americans may have Alzheimer’s that may cause death of people. Alzheimer’s disease named after Dr. Alois Alzheimer’s,The German doctor’s in 1907. A women who had died suffered from severe memory problems. A brain of tissue isolated and observed under microscope. Alois Alzheimer’s saw unusual changes in the women brain’s. Some people with Alzheimer’s disease with their family history. Alzheimer’s disease cause dementia affecting around 496,000 people in the United Kingdom. The number of people with dementia expected to grow from 35 million today and increases 65 million by the year 2030.The term ‘dementia’ describes which can loss of memory, mood changes etc. Age is the risk factors of dementia. Research shown that people who smoke and those who high blood pressure, diabetes are increasing rate of decreasing Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s is a progressive disease. Alzheimer’s disease is a neurological disease.
Connection between Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease?
Alzheimer’s disease caused by falling of the brain function. A unique genetic connection share a Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome. We know that, Down syndrome caused by a extra copy of chromosome 21(hence the name trisomy 21) but Alzheimer’s disease leading to build up of beta-amyloid (the protein responsible for forming the plaques). So, we can say that Down syndrome will develop Alzheimer’s disease.

Treatment of Alzheimer’s disease?
There is no specific test today for Alzheimer’s disease:
Todays, it seems that newspaper, magazines and TV are circulating of stories about how to stayhealthy, eat right and keep fit. Many people are concerning about staying healthy. Recent research suggests that maintainning good overall health may help lower the chances of serious disease.
1. Development of drugs for the treatment of the disease
2. Sometimes take care of the person with AD makes you feel better.
3. Providing love and respect.
4. If needed choose a full time care facility person.
5. Take care of mental health.
6. Consult with your neurologist doctor.
CONCLUSION
So, we are now able to diagnose AD in the early and even in the presymtomatic stages. This article discusses in the causes and treatment of Alzheimer disease(AD).Although there are currently no treatments that slow the disease process. There is no perfect diagnostic test for AD, but neuroimaging and CSF analysis can substantially increase diagnostic accuracy.
