Cactus
Cactus is a spiny plant. Cactus are grow in desert. and other par Desert plants can survive most with minimum rainfall. Cactus are the most common desert plants. Many cactus live in dry environments. Cactus do not contains leaves, leaves are modified to spines.

Stem:- They contains succulent stems that store water. The stems are green in colour. Stomata open at night and closed during most of the day. The stems are perform photosynthesis.
Leaves:- Leaves are modified to spines. Spines are protect from animals.
Roots are present into cactus plant, which is absorb water. Some species contains tap root. Areoles are present in cactus plant. Photosynthesis may be occur in CAM (Crassulacean Acid metabolism) pathway.
Use:-
- i) They are used as food.
- ii) Cactus plant were cultivated as ornamental plant.
